Training Specialist

How you’ll make an impact: 

As our Training Specialist, you will teach customer administrators how to configure and maintain Strata products so they can drive measurable business outcomes at their organizations. To thrive in this role, you must be passionate about designing and delivering technical training. This position will continually challenge you to grow as an educator, a subject matter expert, and a curriculum designer. 

  • Design, maintain, and deliver instructor-led training for assigned solutions and audiences utilizing adult learning principles and training delivery best practices 
  • Utilize Zoom features including polls, chat, and breakout rooms to deliver engaging virtual training sessions 
  • Establish, manage, and enhance the Strata certification training programs in partnership with our Product Management team and solution SMEs 
  • Design and maintain assessments that ensure learners understand the materials 
  • Use your creativity to develop engaging real life healthcare finance scenarios that translate into intuitive software workflows 
  • Effectively manage assigned projects to given timelines, even when operating in uncertain or evolving environments  
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for customer-facing training deliverable development 
  • Cross-train and provide backup instructor coverage for related solution training classes 

On a given day, you might: 

  • Deliver a virtual training session to an audience of customers. 
  • Meet with Product Managers about new features. 
  • Troubleshoot a customer-reported issue in a training database. 
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and technical writers to plan out deliverables for a new module. 
  • Grade and give feedback on a submitted certification project. 

What we’re looking for: 

  • 2-5 years’ experience in corporate training or adult education/learning or related field both delivering and designing training 
  • Ability to write and maintain curricula that leverages best practices in instructional design concepts, style guidelines, adult learning techniques, and scenario-based learning 
  • Ability to identify needs of training audience and adapt content and delivery to meet those needs 
  • Effectively translates complex technical concepts and software workflows into clear, accessible explanations that make them easier for trainees to understand and apply. 
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with limited guidance when necessary 
  • Desire to bring a positive and solution-oriented attitude to their work with a mindset to continuously improve 
  • Ability to successfully manage competing projects and deadlines while maintaining high customer satisfaction 
  • Effective communicator who can build strong partnerships with other teams and gain consensus on core training topics 
  • Experience working with AI tools to accelerate content development and maintenance 
  • Experience working in either healthcare and/or finance preferred 
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) preferred 

 

Estimated Salary Range: $75,000-95,000

Actual salary will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skill set and level of experience. This salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Strata also provides discretionary variable pay programs based on role. In addition, Strata provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits, health and welfare benefits, paid time off, parental leave, life and accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits.
