Full-Time Staff Perfusionist - HealthPark Medical Center, Fort Myers

Staff Perfusionist 

Strata Critical (formerly Keystone Perfusion Services, LLC) is seeking an experienced or newly graduated perfusionist with strong clinical references to join our team at HealthPark Medical Center in Fort Myers, FL. 

You'll work as an independent perfusionist with full responsibility for patient management during bypass. We provide comprehensive training and orientation to ensure you're prepared and confident from day one.

Location: In-Person at HealthPark Medical Center - 2776 Cleveland Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33901
Compensation: $145,000 - $185,000 depending on experience + $10,000 sign-on bonus

Schedule: Days/Nights/Call

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of perfusion-related services in collaboration with anesthesia, surgery, and nursing administration.
• Support a diverse case mix including CABG, valve procedures, aortic repair, and ECMO initiations.
• Ensure safe operation and quality control of equipment, techniques, and procedures.
• Coordinate purchasing of supplies and equipment to maximize efficient utilization.
• Contribute to departmental planning goals and objectives, assisting the director as needed.
• Maintain quality improvement programs in compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Participate in on-call rotation, with call responsibility of 15% across the perfusionist team.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary: $145,000 - $185,000 per year
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
• Retention Bonus: Eligible after 2 years of employment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion education program
• Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or board eligilble
• American Heart Association or Red Cross health care provider BLS Certification
