Job Opportunity: Branch Manager with Associate Refrigeration Inc. in Philadelphia, PA

As the Branch Manager with Associate Refrigeration, you will manage purchasing and inventory using an ERP system. The Branch Manager will handle requests from sales representatives, generate purchases, manage intercompany transfers, develop vendor relationships, resolve disputes, and monitor goods flow. Additionally, the Branch Manager will maintain inventory records and handle special projects assigned by the Purchasing Manager.
The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, hands-on leader with the ability to successfully meet branch performance goals as well as promote and encourage a culture of teamwork and development. To be successful you will also have:
Responsibilities:
- Filling and completing all customer orders at the time and date specified and all warranty items are sent back in a timely manner.
- Quoting jobs and assisting others with supporting customers.
- Supervising and maintaining shelf and warehouse inventory, outages, wrong counts and shortages, and removing discontinued inventory, overstock items.
- Maintaining floor displays, showcases, posters, banners. Ensuring the counter, store, equipment (company vehicles) and grounds are in a clean order.
- Opening and closing the store and remaining available for emergency customer orders.
- Receiving incoming shipments and ensure all outgoing shipments are done when needed, including scheduling company deliveries.
- Administrative and office functions - filing invoices, POs, tax forms, making bank deposits, scheduling employee vacations.
- Networking to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree; preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC Distribution or Building Distribution Trade.
- Proactive, positive, conscientious, organized, and efficient.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet sales targets and production goals.
- Willingness to learn industry regulations and how they apply to customers.
- Proven track record of meeting established sales and profit quotas; preferred.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, and disciplined.
