As a Parts Specialist at ElitAire, you will provide parts and aftermarket support for a wide range of HVAC equipment, handling parts sales, customer orders, and customer inquiries.

In our Columbus office, you will take requests from mechanical contractors, building owners, facility teams, and our own service technicians. You will identify the part, quote it, order it, and keep the customer updated until it arrives. You will work alongside our Parts team in Cincinnati and Indianapolis and directly with the manufacturers we represent. You don't need to know HVAC equipment today; we'll teach you.

Salary range: $50k - 68k, depending on knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with various product related inquiries and parts identification.
• Identify the right part using model and serial numbers, photos, and manufacturer documentation, with training and support from our Parts team.
• Process customer orders and purchases with appropriate vendor supply team.
• Quote, enter, and track orders in our ERP system, and follow every order through to delivery.
• Respond to every customer request with a quote or a status update within 8 business hours. No request goes unanswered.
• Work with manufacturer supply teams on availability, lead times, expediting, and returns.
• Support internal sales team by providing overall technical support and researching options including but not limited to receiving and processing orders, product and service questions, warranty administration and overall customer needs.
• Secure additional orders through proactive recommendations based on clients' needs.
• Assist in vendor sales, inventory, purchasing, pricing, and warranty administration.
• Maintain warehouse inventory accuracy.
• Receive, pick, and ship orders as needed.

Requirements:

• High school degree or GED; required
• 3+ years in parts, order management, inside sales, distribution, or customer service
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50-Lbs with or without accommodations.
• Ability to operate a powered lift
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn; HVAC or mechanical experience is a plus, and we will train you on the equipment
• Accuracy and organization; ability to manage many open orders at once without dropping one
• Clear, prompt written communication, as most of this job happens over email
• Experience with an ERP or order-entry system; Acumatica is a plus
