Sr. HR Business Partner

As a Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) supporting our Engineering and Manufacturing functions, you will serve as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders across these departments. You will deliver expert HR service across large, complex client groups, driving key HR initiatives, programs, and solutions that enable organizational success. This role is critical in fostering engagement, supporting performance management, facilitating compensation cycles, and championing organizational change within a high-impact aerospace environment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide expert HR partnership to Engineering and Manufacturing leaders to define human capital needs, solutions, and processes that will ensure the organization’s ability to attract, retain and develop the best talent at all levels.
- Partner with the Head of Talent Management to develop and implement HR programs and engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational values.
- Engage in workforce planning to align with the strategy and goals of the organization. Support succession planning, talent reviews, identification of critical talent and development needs.
- Coach and counsel employees and managers to maximize individual and team performance.
- Guide managers in developing their teams, addressing underperformance, and creating high-performing cultures. Partner with managers to resolve employee relations issues through coaching and consulting support.
- Diagnose and address complex organizational issues, providing practical and strategic solutions.
- Collaborate to develop effective talent development programs for the departments you support. Deliver presentations and training to diverse audiences.
- Identify and utilize data to support effective decision-making. Ensure management is measuring its human capital in meaningful ways that impact decisions and the future direction of the organization.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for compliance and maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, adapting style and tactics as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a business partner or HR leadership role supporting large, complex client groups (preferably in engineering environment).
- Expert knowledge of HR service delivery, performance management, compensation, and organizational development.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and consulting skills.
- Acute critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to influence and drive change at senior levels.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- High level of collaboration, resourcefulness, and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Self-directed, proactive, and accountable for organizational contribution.

- This position is located in Mojave, CA
- $120,000-$158,000
- Eligible for up to 15% annual bonus
