About Pillar
Pillar is building the next-generation commodity risk management stack for the $10T physical economy. We combine real-time market data with AI-powered exposure modeling and automated trade generation to arm operators with precise protection from volatility. From instant execution to continuous monitoring, alerts, and recommendations, Pillar turns complex market risk into a fully managed, always-on hedging engine.
We were founded in 2023 by the youngest macro market-maker at Barclays and a trading systems engineer at Coinbase, and have raised over $20M in capital from Andreesen Horowitz (a16z), Crucible Capital, Neo, DST Global and more.
What You’ll Do
GTM & Client Growth
- Outreach & engagement: Source and engage prospects through email, cold outreach, conferences, and referrals.
- Pipeline building: Identify companies with commodity exposure and hedging needs. Build a consistent outbound pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Consultative selling: Run discovery calls and demos that speak credibly to operators, procurement teams, and finance leaders. Understand their exposures and show how Pillar solves them.
- Closing: Build proposals, ROI cases, and negotiate terms. Own deals from first touch through close.
- Client onboarding: Ensure new clients are set up for success, partnering with the team to deliver a seamless experience.
- Process improvement: Refine outreach templates, pitch materials, and sales workflows as we scale.
