As the Connected Partnerships Lead, you will own Strava’s success globally through strategic partnerships and product integrations, leveraging our External API and innovative initiatives. You will lead complex, high-impact collaborations that drive business growth, enhance user experience, and advance our strategic goals.
This is a hybrid role based in our San Francisco office.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy that positions Strava at the center of connected fitness.
- Lead complex negotiations to establish dynamic, highly strategic, and mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Cultivate deep, cross-functional relationships with key partners, influencing across diverse teams to drive outcomes.
- Partner with Product Marketing to craft impactful go-to-market campaigns for new features or integration milestones.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to identify new opportunities and drive seamless implementation.
- Monitor and resolve issues with partner integrations, assessing and escalating as needed with clarity and precision.
You will be successful here by:
- Demonstrating leadership in managing complex, high-stakes partnerships with a focus on strategy and execution.
- Having a strategic mentality and a knack for driving stakeholders to consensus on important issues.
- Being self-directed, results-oriented, and comfortable working in ambiguous and dynamic environments.
- Exhibiting a comfortable approach to working across cross-functional teams and being able to creatively problem-solve.
- Working in a highly-organized manner, being capable of managing multiple projects at once and prioritizing among many opportunities.
- Possessing excellent written, oral communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

We’re excited about you because:
- You have 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or a related field.
- You have a proven track record of leading complex negotiations, driving strategic partnerships, and scaling impactful collaborations.
- You have experience with partner API integrations and a demonstrated ability to discuss and navigate complex technical integrations with both internal and external stakeholders.
- You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous settings, proactively identifying opportunities and challenges.
- You excel at crafting and executing strategies while building consensus across diverse stakeholders.
- You are highly organized, adept at managing intricate projects and aligning multiple teams.
- You possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering trust and collaboration across all levels.
