TITLE: SME - RQ Corporate Program Manager
LOCATION: Dayton, OH
OVERVIEW
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the Directorate’s senior contractor advisor for program lifecycle management, acquisition strategy, and integrated planning across multiple R&D efforts.
- Lead the development and oversight of program plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies in support of dynamic AFRL mission needs.
- Facilitate high-visibility briefings, program reviews, and strategic planning sessions with AFRL senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Apply Capability-Based Planning to align programmatic activities with AFRL, USAF, and DoD priorities.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure integration of cost, schedule, and technical performance metrics into program execution.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and senior decision-makers.
- Support the development of visualizations, dashboards, and analytics for real-time program tracking and reporting.
- Attend and represent the Directorate at conferences, briefings, and technology planning meetings as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Active TS/SCI (or TS eligible with SCI eligibility) required.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field or PMP certification required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in DoD program management, including RDT&E or acquisition environments.
- Proven ability to lead complex initiatives with senior executive visibility.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Power BI, CCaR, Work Unit Management tools, and AFRL-specific enterprise systems.
- Strong interpersonal, writing, and briefing skills.
