Competitive Pay: $95,000 - $150,000/year (Base + Bonus) + ASE Certification Bonus (up to $10k/year)

Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle systems using scanners/specialty tools, vehicle test drives and automotive expertise
- Diagnose & repair all categories: heating/cooling, electrical, engine, transmission brakes, steering, suspension, etc.
- Complete all repairs as outlined on Repair Order independently while maintaining accurate records of work completed
- Complete detailed preventative maintenance reports using digital visual inspections
- Maintain communication with the service department to keep customers informed; particularly for cost/timeline of additional services & repairs
- Interface with customers to break down technical concepts so the customer understands
- Uphold high standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations governing service operations, including protocols for hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- 8-10+ years prior experience working in an automotive repair shop
- 2+ years of experience in advanced automotive diagnostics
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
- ASE Certifications preferred but not required
- Have necessary set of tools to perform repairs & maintenance
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet or exceed hourly goals
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
- Efficiently navigate a computer
