Job Overview

Stress-Free Auto Care is seeking a passionate Learning & Development Manager to lead training, upskilling, and talent development initiatives across the organization. You’ll ensure our teams are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service, support career growth, and help managers develop operational expertise and financial acumen. You will also play a key role in improving talent acquisition assessments and creating a seamless onboarding experience for all new hires. Responsibilities

Training & Upskilling Mechanics/Technicians

  • Develop and deliver technical training programs to ensure mechanics and technicians master diagnostic tools, repair processes, and operational best practices.
  • Facilitate ongoing skill development to support advancements in technology and customer service expectations.
  • Partner with store managers to identify training needs and evaluate team performance.

Manager Training in Operational Best Practices & Financial Acumen

  • Design and implement leadership training programs focusing on operational excellence, customer experience, and team management.
  • Create financial training modules to improve managers’ understanding of P&L, budgeting, and key financial metrics.
  • Provide coaching to managers to enhance decision-making and drive performance.

Career Growth Development Across the Organization

  • Establish and promote career pathing frameworks to support internal mobility and long-term employee success.
  • Lead development programs for employees at all levels, preparing them for leadership roles.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning by creating structured opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Talent Acquisition Evaluations & Onboarding

  • Design and implement evaluation tools for talent acquisition to better assess candidate skills, cultural alignment, and growth potential.
  • Develop a robust and structured onboarding program for all new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the organization.
  • Continuously improve onboarding processes to enhance new hire engagement and performance in the first 90 days.

Program Design, Delivery, and Improvement

  • Develop engaging and scalable training content, including e-learning modules, workshops, and in-person sessions.
  • Implement robust onboarding programs to ensure new hires integrate seamlessly into their roles.
  • Continuously assess training effectiveness through surveys, performance metrics, and feedback loops, using data to enhance program outcomes.

Culture & Leadership

  • Act as a mentor and coach, fostering a culture of inclusion, curiosity, and accountability.
  • Collaborate with leaders to align training initiatives with company values and strategic goals.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training Management, or a similar role, preferably in a multi-location organization.
  • Experience in automotive, retail, or hospitality industries is a strong plus.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong instructional design and facilitation skills, with experience in technical and leadership training.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Data-driven approach to evaluating training effectiveness.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for inspiring others.
