Competitive Pay: $95,000 - $150,000/year (Base + Bonus) + ASE Certification Bonus (up to $10k/year) – Technicians – A Level

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose vehicle systems using scanners/specialty tools, vehicle test drives and automotive expertise
  • Diagnose & repair all categories: heating/cooling, electrical, engine, transmission brakes, steering, suspension, etc.
  • Complete all repairs as outlined on Repair Order independently while maintaining accurate records of work completed
  • Complete detailed preventative maintenance reports using digital visual inspections
  • Maintain communication with the service department to keep customers informed; particularly for cost/timeline of additional services & repairs
  • Interface with customers to break down technical concepts so the customer understands
  • Uphold high standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations governing service operations, including protocols for hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years prior experience working in an automotive mechanic or technician
  • 2+ years of experience in advanced automotive diagnostics
  • Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
  • ASE Certifications preferred but not required
  • Have necessary set of tools to perform repairs & maintenance
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet or exceed hourly goals

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
  • Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
  • Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
  • Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
  • Drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
  • Efficiently navigate a computer
