Acquisition/Contract Analyst

Position Summary:
Strider is seeking a skilled, ambitious, dedicated, and self-motivated Acquisition/Contract Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our business growth strategy by analyzing acquisition opportunities, providing valuable knowledge and insights into the government contracting process, managing contract negotiations, and pushing deals across the finish line.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to acquisition strategy and contract strategy development for Strider’s annual operating plan
- Manage the execution processes of our Federal contracts, from inception to signature
- Monitor contract execution, tracking funding and modifications for Strider’s government contracts
- Partner with Strider’s General Counsel to review contracts and proposals for compliance with internal policies and provide guidance on statutory and regulatory requirements governed by the FAR/DFAR/DoD Directive 5000 series
- Monitor SAM.gov, TradewindsAI, Needopedia, and other government platforms for solicitations for which Strider can compete
- Manage Strider’s General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule contract
- Develop and review solicitations, proposals, and bids in response to government RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
- Negotiate and execute contracts, contract modifications, teaming agreements, subcontracting agreements, and consortium agreements
Key Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines and U.S. Government contracting
- At least one of the following designations
- Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM)
- Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM)
- Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)
- Defense Acquisitions Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification
- Federal or military contracting experience; deep knowledge of and experience with GSA schedules
- Experiences conducting a wide range of acquisition lifecycle activities, including
- Acquisition planning
- Contract awarding and closeout activities
- Source selection
- Firm fixed-price contracts
- Cost and price analysis and negotiation experience
- Cost plus and cost reimbursement

- Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
- Attention to administrative detail
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
