Client Lifecycle Manager

Position Summary:
The role of the Japan Client Lifecycle Manager is a hybrid pre-sales / post-sales function that will start within the Sales team and gradually transition into a full-time Client Success Manager (CSM) role as their book of business grows, ultimately serving as the designated CSM for a defined book of business as part of a dynamic client success team.
In an initial pre-sales role, you will support account executives in demonstrating the power of Strider’s data and platform to potential clients, working alongside account executives to build relationships with prospects, help identify the appropriate products and use cases to address client needs, and guiding the prospect toward procurement. Once clients enter procurement, you will work as part of the Client Success team to support these clients, serving as their first-stop resource and ensuring that they are able to access the full suite of Strider capabilities in order to achieve their objectives. By enabling results, we retain our clients and expand the Strider footprint for the right clients at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales Support:
- Master Strider’s data, technologies, and methodologies to communicate value to prospective clients.
- Partner with account executives to deliver impactful product demonstrations that align Strider’s solutions with client needs.
- Help prospects understand how Strider’s capabilities support their objectives, ensuring a smooth transition to procurement.
- Client Success (Post-Sales):
- Lead clients from contract signature through onboarding and regular business reviews.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their first point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Ensure clients fully leverage Strider’s suite of capabilities to achieve their goals, fostering retention and expansion of the Strider footprint.
- Identify and act on expansion opportunities, collaborating with sales to drive growth.
- Anticipate client needs and challenges, providing solutions before they escalate. Respond quickly to client requests, acting with urgency and professionalism. In every client interaction, we strive to exceed expectations by adhering to the following principles:

- Strategic Insights & Localization:
- Contribute to the continual improvement and localization of client-facing materials, enhancing Strider’s presence in the Japanese market.
- Develop expertise in economic security, including Japanese policies and best practices, to better communicate Strider’s value.
Key Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in sales, client success, or a client-facing role, ideally within SaaS, DaaS, or intelligence solutions.
- Proven success in supporting clients through complex sales cycles and/or delivering measurable results.
- Ability to learn quickly and translate complex data and technical concepts into client-friendly language.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese, with the ability to build rapport and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, startup environment with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Legally authorized to live and work in Japan.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for client engagements.
Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications:
- Experience with large enterprise clients (annual revenues over $10B).
- Familiarity with economic security topics such as supply chain risk, cybersecurity, and insider threat.
- Prior experience with Japanese government or defense sectors.
- Additional language skills in Mandarin, Russian, or Persian (Farsi).
