Senior Accountant - International Entities & Consolidation

Job Summary: 

We are a growing technology company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead accounting operations for our non-US entities, manage transfer pricing compliance, and oversee the consolidation of global financial results. This role will play a critical part in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across our international operations.

The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of US GAAP, transfer pricing practices, and multinational consolidations, along with hands-on experience using NetSuite to drive efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities: 

International Entity Accounting

  • Manage the accounting and monthly close process for multiple non-US subsidiaries.
  • Coordinate with international teams and third-party accounting firms to ensure local books are maintained accurately and in alignment with US GAAP.
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for international entities.
  • Ensure proper recording and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.

Transfer Pricing

  • Enforce and maintain intercompany pricing policies in accordance with global transfer pricing documentation.
  • Record, monitor, and reconcile intercompany transactions, including service agreements and cost-sharing arrangements.
  • Prepare intercompany invoices and ensure adequate support and audit readiness.
  • Partner with tax advisors to assist with annual transfer pricing studies and local file requirements.

Consolidation & Financial Reporting

  • Lead the global month-end consolidation process, including FX translation, elimination entries, and consolidation adjustments within NetSuite.
  • Prepare accurate consolidated financial statements and internal reporting packages.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of NetSuite modules to streamline reporting across global entities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements.

  Key Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent strongly preferred).
  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in a multinational environment, ideally in the SaaS sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, consolidation processes, and transfer pricing.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, especially with multi-entity and consolidation modules.
  • Strong understanding of intercompany eliminations, foreign currency transactions, and SaaS revenue recognition is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience handling large volumes of financial data.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with SaaS industry-specific accounting practices such as deferred revenue and ASC 606.
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with global tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Prior involvement in process improvement or financial systems implementation initiatives.
