Description
Striim is seeking a highly enthusiastic Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our talented, in-office UI team in Palo Alto, California. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building dynamic web applications and collaborating with engineers across multiple teams, in countries such as the US, Poland, and India. The Senior Full Stack Engineer will be an integral part of our UI team, collaborating with engineers across the company to design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge web applications. Additional responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Develop both front-end and back-end solutions using ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java.
- Integrate with the backend using Websockets, REST, and Servlets to enable real-time communication and robust API interactions.
- Work closely with engineering teams across the US, Poland, and India to ensure the UI is scalable, performant, and user-friendly.
- Take ownership of features from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Continuously experiment with new technologies, contributing to technical innovation, and staying current with industry trends.
- Writing clean, maintainable code to build intuitive user interfaces grounded in modern design principles.
- Engage in cross-team discussions to understand business needs and translate them into elegant technical solutions.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in full-stack development with strong expertise in ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proficient with Java for back-end development.
- Ability OOP principles to create clean and modular code.
- Expertise in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and modern web frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Websockets, REST, and Servlets for real-time communication and API integrations.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and a passion for creating intuitive user interfaces.
- Proficient with vector-based design, specifically with Figma.
- Proficiency with version control (Git) and experience working in agile development environments.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.
- Exposure to microservices architecture or similar large-scale systems.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a similar field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams.
- A driven, self-motivated attitude, with a desire to experiment, learn, and dive into challenges.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- This is a hybrid position, and the candidate must be able to commute to our headquarters in Palo Alto, CA, three days per week.

Compensation Range: $170,000 - 190,000 USD on an annualized basis
