What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a collaborative and adaptable individual with a passion for creating a best-in-class total rewards process and supporting our Strivers through rapid growth. This newly created role is an ideal opportunity for someone flexible enough to tackle a broad range of projects while developing expertise in areas such as compensation, payroll, benefits, and operational processes. This position will report to the Director, People Operations and be located in the Denver, CO area.
The Day to Day
- Support Strive’s total rewards function by working across employee compensation, benefits, and payroll.
- Assist with the administration of compensation programs, including maintaining salary structures, tracking incentive programs, and supporting data entry for pay adjustments, ensuring accuracy and correct documentation is in place.
- Assist with the execution of compensation cycles, including data preparation, validation, and ensuring accuracy in incentive and compensation adjustments.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support payroll and benefit audits.
- Occasionally assist in processing payroll for employees ensuring accuracy in wages, deductions, and benefits.
- Provide employees with guidance on total rewards policies and escalate complex inquiries as needed.
- Assist in special projects related to process improvements and employee education with an eye for improving efficiency and scalability.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years combined of related education and(or) experience.
- 0-2+ years of focused studies/experience in a field emphasizing human resources, payroll, communication or other related fields.
- Ability to travel to Strive HQ in Denver, CO occasionally as need for in-office days.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and HR Information Systems, such as Rippling, Payscale, and Lattice.
- Exposure to compensation cycle administration, payroll processing, and benefit administration

Hourly Base Salary Range: $28.00 - $32.25
