What You’ll Do 

The Director of Salesforce is leading and empowering a high-performing team of Salesforce professionals. This role spends equal amounts of time between leading/managing the team and contributing to the team as a Solution Architect. The greater Salesforce team is devoted to maintaining standardization by facilitating care workflows through Salesforce Health Cloud workflows whenever possible, ensuring that processes remain consistent throughout the entire platform. This role will own the integrity and strength of the solutions for our platform. The Director will require a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform as well as top-notch people skills to deliver ideas and solutions across stakeholder groups and gain integrity to build visions into successful solutions. This role will have Technical Architects, people managers, and Salesforce Administrators for whom they will have direct accountability of their development and productivity. This role will report to the Vice President of Engineering.  

The Day to Day 

  • Conducts research into clients’ use of Salesforce, producing reports of findings with recommended steps and a roadmap for Salesforce solutions including clearly defined Entity Relationship Diagrams, wireframes, and mock-ups. 
  • Collaborates with business and clinical teams to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements. 
  • Anticipates, evaluates, and reports on downstream and cross functional impacts of solution design. 
  • Owns the design of Salesforce/Health Cloud and other affiliated solutions based on business requirements, as well as the data dictionary of the current build. 
  • Directs and delegates team to execute tactical implementation of product and engineering roadmap. 
  • Conducts weekly coaching with direct reports to guide them on their professional development. 
  • Mentors and grows team through project partnership and leading team initiatives. 
  • Communicates tactfully across various stakeholders and groups to gather information and present findings. 
  • Manages procedures for our stakeholders to be able to directly request minor updates to Health Cloud executed by our external Salesforce consulting vendor. 
  • Sets standards of practice for the Salesforce center of excellence in alignment with industry best practice.  

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 6+ years of focused studies/experience in a field emphasizing Computer Science, Business and/or Salesforce administration and implementations 
  • Salesforce Administrator certification  
  • 1+ years’ experience demonstrated experience with Salesforce architecture and APIs. 
  • 1+ years’ experience soliciting, gathering, and analyzing user input and requirements. 
  • 2+ years experience leading cross-functional teams directly or in a matrixed environment. 
  • 2+ years experience with Salesforce Health Cloud. 
  • Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms.   
  • Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs. 
  • Meet in person with internal and/or external stakeholders to facilitate team and business priorities/opportunities.  Business travel may be required for opportunities to connect with stakeholders, serve patients, and attend Strive-sponsored team events. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field. 
  • Salesforce Application Architect certification. 
  • Salesforce Platform Developer certification. 
  • Maintains an active presence on Salesforce Trailhead. 
  • Mulesoft certified developer. 
  • Experience with security and privacy best practices. 
  • Certified SAFe Product Ownership, Product Management, and/or DevOps. 
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce. 
  • 2+ years experience in OmniStudio/Vlocity development, including OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, FlexCards, and Dataraptors. 
  • Experience in a business consulting environment 
  • Experience leading or supporting a Salesforce implementation through the SDLC. 
  • Experience with data modeling for reporting performance in Salesforce Health Cloud.

  • Communicates effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Including executive leadership, clinicians, business stakeholders, and other technologists.  
  • Adjusts communication style to fit their audience.  

 

Annual Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $163,000
