What You'll Do
We are seeking an Analyst, Healthcare Economics to join our high-performing, insights-driven team. This role is designed to support senior team members in evaluating financial performance, identifying savings opportunities, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. Your work will help inform how Strive supports patients, clinicians, and markets in achieving both clinical and financial success.
Essential Functions
- Support analyses of healthcare data, including claims, financial, and utilization data, to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for medical economics initiatives.
- Assist in the development of business cases by conducting analyses, defining supporting metrics, and generating data-driven insights to inform investment decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including actuaries, data scientists, and healthcare professionals, to support initiatives aimed at improving cost-efficiency, quality of care, and outcomes.
- Conduct research and quantitative analyses to support evaluation of the financial impact of medical economics initiatives.
- Help build, maintain, and refine analytical models and tools used to monitor the impact of medical economics interventions on key performance indicators.
- Prepare well-structured analyses, reports, and presentations that summarize findings and support decision-making for senior team members and leadership.
Who You Are
- A detail-oriented, analytical thinker with intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with guidance and clear priorities.
- Comfortable working through ambiguity with support and applying structure to defined analytical problems.
- A clear communicator who can summarize analytical findings and insights for a variety of audiences.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, medical economics, actuarial science, consulting, or a related field.
- Experience analyzing medical claims and healthcare data; exposure to lab, EMR, or clinical data is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
- Experience with Power BI, Redshift, or dbt is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or health-related field (e.g., Economics, Public Health, Statistics, Health Services Research, Math, Finance).
- Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms.
- Ability to travel and be on-site to meet business needs.
Annual Salary Range: $70,000 - $83,000. This position is also eligible for a target annual bonus of 5%
Final compensation will be determined based on location, experience, and qualifications.
