What You'll Do

As a Vendor Manager at Strive Health, you will own the relationships between Strive and its vendors and partners, from sourcing and selection through contracting, day-to-day management, and renewal or termination decisions. You will also lead the execution of our vendor management strategy and implement process improvements that lower costs and make workflows more effective. This individual would report to the Director of Implementation. 

The Day to Day 

  • Identify, research, source and select the best available vendors, negotiate contracts that balance cost, quality, and risk. 
  • Set performance standards for vendors and hold them accountable to those standards. 
  • Manage ongoing operational relationships across vendor partners. 
  • Drive renewal and termination decisions supported by clear, data-backed recommendations. 
  • Act as main point of contact internally and externally for operational vendors to set up new users, ensure invoice accuracy, and escalate issues. 
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Operations to establish operational standards, ensure compliance, and streamline vendor selection, approval, and onboarding. 
  • Execute vendor management strategy and implement continuous process improvements that lower costs and optimize workflows. 
  • Meet in person with internal and/or external stakeholders to facilitate team and business priorities/opportunities.  Business travel may be required for opportunities to connect with stakeholders, serve patients, and attend Strive-sponsored team events. 

Qualifications 

Minimum: 

  •  5+ years of experience in operational vendor management (or a combination of related education, experience, and certification). 
  • Proven track record in new vendor contracting, implementation, and relationship ownership.  
  • Background in cost reduction strategies and operational efficiency improvements.  
  • Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms.  (For all roles). 
  • Travel: Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs (estimated at 5–10% of the time). 
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. 

Preferred: 

  • Education: Master’s degree in a related field. 
  • Experience in Health Care or Value-Based Care environment.  
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or CSCP.

Annual Base Salary Range: $85,500 - $104,000

Final compensation will be determined based on location, experience, and qualifications.
