We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team in Bangalore, India. This entry-level role provides essential tactical and administrative support to our HR function, allowing our US-based HR team to focus on strategic initiatives. This is an excellent introduction to an HR career, offering hands-on experience across various HR functions.
No prior HR experience is required, but we are looking for a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain and update HR records, employee files, and HRIS systems to ensure accuracy.
- Support compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to labor laws and company policies.
- Prepare HR-related reports, presentations, and documentation as needed.
Recruitment & Onboarding Support
- Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Track and update recruitment pipelines and prepare offer letters as needed.
Employee Support & Payroll Coordination
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions.
- Support benefits administration and leave tracking.
- Assist with payroll coordination by tracking attendance, leaves, and overtime.
Administrative & General HR Support
- Perform general administrative tasks, including handling correspondence, managing calendars, and organizing files.
- Support HR team projects such as employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, and internal communications.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee data.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 0–2 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role (internships or related coursework are a plus but not required).
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (preferred but not required).
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong time management and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate with both the India-based team and the US-based HR team.
- Willingness to work some hours overlapping US time zones as needed.
