Role Description and Expectations 

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as Vice President of Training. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver world-class training programs that elevate sales performance across our organization. With a focus on strengthening our retail channel exteriors business, you will partner closely with field leadership to equip our direct salesforce, call center teams, inside sales professionals, and sales leaders with the skills and resources needed to achieve exceptional results. 

Beyond retail, you will also lead the development of training programs for our storm/response teams and independent sellers, ensuring consistent standards of sales leadership and execution across the business. This position carries direct responsibility for managing a cost center, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, while implementing best practices in training systems and measurement.

  • Design and deliver training curriculum for retail sales channels, including outside sales, inside sales, and call center teams, with a focus on sales effectiveness, financing processes, and customer engagement. 
  • Partner with field leadership to facilitate training that accelerates team productivity, enhances retention, and supports sales expansion initiatives. 
  • Create and implement training programs for storm/response independent sellers across service lines and sales processes. 
  • Collaborate with channel leaders, shared services, and sales operations to achieve organizational growth and financial objectives. 
  • Develop strategies to attract, retain, and grow sales talent while fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence within the Stronghouse brand. 
  • Lead training and integration efforts for newly acquired partners, ensuring a seamless transition into the platform. 
  • Drive productivity, engagement, and retention for sales teams across both current and expansion markets. 
  • Champion collaboration across brand units and shared services to build cohesive, high-performing teams. 
  • Contribute to the senior leadership team by shaping strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation and execution. 

 

Qualifications  

  • Minimum of 10 years of business leadership experience with responsibility for training in high-growth, fast-paced environments. 
  • Roofing and/or construction trades industry experience strongly preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives, influence stakeholders, and prioritize effectively. 
  • Proven success in delivering measurable results and building high-performing teams. 
  • Collaborative, team-oriented leader with a low-ego approach and strong business acumen. 
  • Agile and adaptable, with the ability to quickly build trust and navigate new environments. 
  • Deep commitment to talent development, succession planning, and cultivating a positive, results-driven culture.
