Based in New Orleans, Louisiana, Retirement Strategies Group (RSG) is a TPA that provides 401(k) plan administration and recordkeeping services to small- and mid-sized businesses. RSG services 600+ 401(k), Profit Sharing, Cash Balance, and Traditional DB plans. Position Summary:
Retirement Strategies Group (RSG), a Strongpoint Partner, is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Retirement Plan Administrator who will provide full client services to a designated caseload of clients, including day to day communication and management of their workflow and project deadlines. This is a great opportunity for a motivated candidate who wants to support all sides of a growing financial services firm. This individual must have strong project management skills, a high level of comfort with technology, and the personality to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment by being adaptable, creative, proactive, and eager to grow in this position as it evolves with the growth of the company.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who has some experience as an Administrator, but who is ready to take the next step of growth in their career. A senior-level Administrator title will be considered for candidates who possess strong experience and credentials. The ideal candidate would be someone who is ambitious and looking to grow into leadership in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
- Independently handle a caseload of 401k and cross-tested plans of A-Z administration.
- Perform plan ADP/ACP compliance testing accurately and timely.
- Provide superior client service and communication to caseload of ~ 65-75 plans.
- Maintain industry knowledge and share information with team members.
- Utilize administration systems and other technologies to maximize efficiencies.
- Review and recommend plan design changes to clients.
- Coordinate year-end valuation.
- Read and interpret plan documents.
- Importing census and participant account data.
- Asset Reconciliation/Trust Accounting.
- Year-end valuation.
- Forms 5500, 8955, 5330.
- Loan, hardship, and distribution review.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Between 5+ years of 401(k) retirement plan administration experience.
- Excellent knowledge of ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy and 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing.
- ASPPA and/or NIPA credentials preferred.
- Experience with Relius software strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong math and/or accounting skills.
- Strong initiative, integrity, self-motivation, and results orientation.
- Ability to organize, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong MS Office experience, especially Excel and Word.
Pay Transparency Statement:
The anticipated range for this position is $65,000-$85,000 annually.
At Strongpoint Partners, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position, applicable to all locations across the U.S. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job-related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
