Strongpoint and its affiliate partners provide third-party administration of retirement plans and outsourced HR and payroll solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. Strongpoint offers an integrated software platform for retirement planning and payroll, and is pursuing a growth strategy that includes add-on acquisitions and organic growth initiatives. Preference will be given to candidates in the Chicago area as a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days in our Riverwoods office is preferred.
What you'll do:
- Reconciles brokerage accounts
- Completes tasks and projects to support plan administration and new business teams
- Reconciles vendor activity
- Imports and scrubs annual census data
- Processes plan contributions and distributions
- Processes fees
- Performs daily cash and fund reconciliation
- Completes daily trade processing
- Utilizes various online vendor platforms for vesting review, uploads, and distribution processing
- Answers participant phone calls and replies to inquiries via email
- Efficiently utilizes technology to perform a variety of tasks
- Attends staff meetings and trainings as directed by leadership
- Approaches role with a continuous improvement mindset, looking to identify and implement organizational process solutions
Who you are:
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university; Equivalent years of experience considered
- 2-4 years of experience in financial services operations, employee benefits administration, or related business environment
- Exceptional approach to stewardship in a client service industry, focusing on communications, timely solutions, and meeting and exceeding client expectations
- Solid financial acumen
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM software
- Must be organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity, be proactive with client needs, seek to continuously improve service, constantly focus on professional growth and work collaboratively with the entire team
- Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) certification preferred
