Position Summary:
Pension Financial Services ("PFS"), a Strongpoint Partner, is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Regional Sales Director to support the Southeastern region. The Sales Director position is responsible for all aspects of the sales process from prospecting to closing business. They are responsible for seeking out new relationships financial advisors, recordkeepers, DCIO’s and other centers of influence such as CPA’s & attorneys. The Sales Director will focus on retirement plan design for business owners and their employees using solutions provided through the Strongpoint partnerships; they will help drive new top-line sales revenue growth and unit count through their relationships and influence.
Our ideal candidate would have some prior experience in sales within the retirement industry; however, we are open to someone ambitious with an Administrator background who is looking to be more front-facing with advisors.
PLEASE NOTE: This role is based in our Duluth, GA location and follows a hybrid work model. Consideration will be given to candidates in other areas of the Southeast; however, strong preference will be given to those located in or around Atlanta, GA who are able to commute to our Duluth location regularly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops prospects through direct solicitation of Advisors and Recordkeepers
- Develops information and recommendations for prospective accounts, presents proposals and adheres to company’s policies and procedures for writing new accounts
- Actively uses CRM to track data
- Identifies and solicits sales prospects from various sources
- May solicit referrals from existing clients
- Coordinates timely presentations for new business
- Actively participates in industry associations, organization, and/or boards and charities
- Meets or exceeds monthly sales goals
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; equivalent years of experience considered.
- 5+ years of proven external sales success in the recordkeeping or TPA environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident, friendly, and outgoing personality who can thrive as an individual and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM software.
- Must be organized, self motivated and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, be proactive with client needs, seek to continuously improve service, constantly focus on professional growth and work collaboratively with the entire team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 Years or more of external sales experience with a TPA or Recordkeeper.
- Candidate who resides in the Southeastern territory, preferably in the greater Atlanta area.
