Responsibilities

Assist in preparing actuarial valuations for Defined Benefit and Cash Balance plans in compliance with IRS regulations

Support annual nondiscrimination testing for qualified retirement plans, including Cash Balance, Defined Benefit, and 401(k)/Profit Sharing plans

Assist with preparation of PBGC filings and required notices

Support preparation of annual FASB reports

Prepare distribution packages and annual participant statements

Assist with preparation and timely filing of government forms, including IRS and DOL Form 5500 and Schedule SB

Support preliminary plan design studies and projections to ensure compliance with nondiscrimination requirements

Maintain and update plan documents and amendments as directed

Assist with plan termination filings with the IRS and PBGC

Participate in retirement plan consulting projects as assigned

Communicate with internal team members and provide support for client requests

Work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
