For 30+ years, our software has helped leading design firms to drive efficiency and growth through our industry-leading digital platform featuring an all-in-one project management system, client collaboration portal, product sourcing, tools, and designer-specific accounting software.
The Role
The Junior Software Developer will plan, design, develop code, and test new software applying the knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems. You will implement the designs by writing computer programs as well as update, maintain and repair existing programs. This is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to grow in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. You’ll need a solid foundation in databases, SQL, and willingness to learn the needs of the Interior Design industry.
What You’ll Do
- Research and develop new cloud computing debugging software component and flows.
- Analyze and track existing debugging gaps and improvement areas.
- Present and report on applicable information and instruction to the development team on a regular basis.
- Gain experience in tools and systems used by Studio Designer.
- Learn to understand the software architecture within Studio Designer tools in order to evaluate, assess, and suggest software solutions.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, ect)
- Experience using .NET or Angular
- Comprehensive knowledge with software languages including C#, JavaScript, or Go is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge, understanding, or desire to work in AWS and their accompanying platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, critical thinker with a strong technical background.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with software used for tracking project progress (JIRA, AzDO, etc.)
- Ability to identify problems and provide and communicate solutions
- Strong team ethic
Base pay range
$75,000 - $95,000 USD
