Senior Account Executive - Salesforce Services

A Senior Account Executive at Studio Science will play a critical role in organizational growth.  In this role, individuals will connect with customers and Salesforce counterparts throughout the entire customer lifecycle. We are looking for an individual with experience selling six- and seven figure Professional Services deals to mid-market and enterprise-level Salesforce clients, preferably those clients using Salesforce Commerce products. Ideal candidates will have the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven, team-oriented environment and will be able to manage competing priorities while striving for continuous accuracy.  We are looking for exceptional sales professionals that are not afraid to roll up their sleeves, with a bias for action and a reputation for winning.

Responsibilities:     

  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement through consistent management of the sales pipeline -- we run our business on Salesforce.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to customers -- the main buyers of our services are IT leaders.
  • Work with our VP of Marketing and VP of  Alliances to strategically plan sales activities within the assigned region or vertical. 
  • Collaborate with Salesforce and Studio Science account teams to deliver customer projects.
  • Understand client needs as it relates to their business strategy and IT landscape.
  • Align technical resources for client engagements.
  • Onboard clients post-sale to ensure a smooth sales to delivery transition.
  • Provide visibility to Salesforce stakeholders (account executives, customer success, etc.) on current engagements to jointly drive Salesforce expansion opportunities.
  • Find opportunities for expansion of Studio Science services within the existing client base.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets (including new and expansion business).
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Provide regular updates to management on progress, including key sales and account management metrics.
  • Understand and stay up-to-date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Management, or a related area of study; combination of education and experience also acceptable
  • 5+ years of proven success in software or services and/or technology services  industry
  • Experience selling IT services focused on Salesforce Commerce technology, highly preferred
  • Outstanding communication and listening skills
  • Demonstrated high performance with sales quotas and objectives; strategic account planning and execution skills
  • Strong business acumen, experience identifying unique and complex business challenges and solutions
  • Co-selling, selling as a partner or directing multiple groups of people toward the same goal in a sales situation
  • Consultative sales solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, succinct return on investment value statement
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Ability to effectively work remotely and in a professional manner from home in a United States-based location
  • Availability and flexibility to work with global clients across multiple time zones and for occasional travel to client sites and Studio Science headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA for any employer without the need for sponsorship now or anytime in the future
