World History Expert Curriculum Review (Contract)

Study.com is looking for World History Experts to evaluate and enhance our educational content structure through the Curriculum Review project. Our ideal Expert is knowledgeable in their field, detail-oriented, and capable of analyzing content organization. 

This is an online, remote contract role. All work is paid per piece. Per piece rates vary based on complexity and length of content.

Project Description

As a World History Expert for the Curriculum Review project, you'll be responsible for:  

  • Evaluating learning content for level-appropriateness, instructional quality, and usefulness
  • Assessing and validating topic hierarchies within specific subject areas
  • Identifying content gaps and recommending improvements
  • Providing detailed justification for content recommendations using academic sources

Required Skills:

  • Education: Graduate degree OR Bachelor's degree with curriculum development experience
  • Experience: Teaching or lecturing experience
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Competency: Strong understanding of academic content organization

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in curriculum development or instructional design
  • Background in creating or reviewing academic materials
  • Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices

Subject-Specific Expertise

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Deep understanding of World History fundamentals and advanced concepts
  • Familiarity with current World History research and developments in the field
  • Experience teaching World History at high school level
  • Knowledge of common student misconceptions and learning challenges in World History
  • Ability to align content with academic standards and learning objectives
