About the Role: Our New Business team is seeking a seasoned enterprise sales leader who is passionate about closing high-value deals that drive meaningful impact. At Submittable, you’ll own the full sales cycle for our innovative Grants Management and Corporate Social Responsibility software solutions — engaging C-suite leaders, building strategic pipelines, and consistently exceeding ambitious quotas.
You’ll report directly to the VP of Sales and play a critical role in scaling our impact-driven enterprise business. This is your chance to combine elite sales skills with a mission-driven product that’s reshaping the social impact and grantmaking landscape.
Location: Remote - United States (Central and Eastern time zones preferred)
Compensation: Competitive base + uncapped commission, with total OTE aligned to enterprise market standards
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles with large, complex organizations, driving new logo acquisition and expanding strategic relationships
- Execute rigorous pipeline management and forecasting with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC methodology, ensuring consistent quota overachievement
- Develop and deliver compelling, tailored pitches and demos that connect our technology to long-term client goals
- Engage and build trusted partnerships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives and cross-functional leaders
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction
- Manage 20+ high-value opportunities simultaneously while continuously building your pipeline
- Innovate and problem-solve, providing customer feedback to influence product and program enhancements
- Mentor junior sales staff and contribute to a high-performance sales culture
- Travel 25%-50% to corporate offices and to assigned Named Accounts as necessary
About You: We’re looking for candidates who combine demonstrated sales expertise, business acumen, and a passion for creating meaningful change.
- 6+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a proven track record of consistently exceeding quota and closing deals valued over $250K ARR
- Deep experience managing complex sales cycles and leveraging MEDDIC/MEDDPICC sales methodologies to drive accurate forecasting and pipeline management
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives
- Strong hunter mentality with expert-level prospecting, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Passion for social impact and mission-driven technology, with a track record of working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Ability to thrive with autonomy, accountability, and relentless drive to win
