Success Academy is seeking a Salesforce Administrator/Business Analyst to join the Enrollment Team. Reporting to the Enrollment Leader, and working closely with a broad base of constituents at the Network, the Salesforce Administrator/Business Analyst will be an integral part of the team supporting SA’s innovative Salesforce Lottery application that drives  new scholar acquisition and enrollment.  

The Salesforce Administrator/Business Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, ad-hoc reporting, maintenance and improvement of Success Academy’s application database. Reporting to the Enrollment Leader and working closely with customer experience, scholar acquisition, marketing and enterprise data and analytics teams, the administrator will ensure Success Academy capitalizes on the benefits offered by Salesforce to support. This role is part administrator, part Salesforce analyst and 100% dedicated to our mission. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the Enrollment data model in Salesforce with a focus on enhancing data flow, dependencies, and implications on downstream systems.

  • Manage the user experience and setup of user interfaces, including fields, custom objects, record types, and page layouts.

  • Create reports and dashboards in response to business needs.

  • Implement processes to advance data quality & hygiene, including validation rules, assignment rules, duplicate entry checks, flows, snapshot reporting, etc.

  • Import leads, contacts, and other data via Data Import Wizard and Data Loader

  • Provide training and support to staff, create training materials.

  • Identify data defects and create story-based cases for greater Technology team

  • Review and test systems to ensure they support the ever changing business needs of the organization and produce quality data outputs.

  • Provide data analysis to support data requirements and reporting.

  • Collaborate with Customer Experience and ED&A teams to analyze data to determine if initiatives achieved anticipated outcomes, provide data analysis to assist and guide decision making and surface insights from data to drive continuous improvement

  • Responsible for adding and managing new users, including monitoring user roles, profiles, and permissions

Required Skills

  • Salesforce Knowledge: Deep understanding of Salesforce features, functionality, and limitations, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.  Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.  Extensive experience with Salesforce data management, including creating and updating fields, page layouts, custom objects, reports and dashboards to support business processes and needs

  • Business Analysis Skills: Proficient in analyzing business processes and requirements, and translating them into technical solutions.  Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.  

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.  Excellent problem solving, documentation and communication skills.  Sense of humor required.

  • Data Management: Knowledge of data migration, data quality, and data governance in the context of Salesforce.  Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues, propose solutions, and optimize Salesforce for better performance.  Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.

  • Project Management: Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.  Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude.

Required Experience

  • Must have 2 years of previous business analyst experience developing detailed business & functional requirements, conducting User Acceptance Testing and end user training.

  • Previous experience developing requirements for CRM projects or implementation.

  • Previously responsible for point and click administration of mission critical systems (ex: ERP, CRM, CMS etc.).

  • Previous education experience, specifically in the areas of focus.

  • Previous CRM administration (Salesforce/MS Dynamics) experience preferred.

  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment is preferred.

Certifications (Recommended)

  • Salesforce Administrator

  • Salesforce Business Analyst Certification

  • Salesforce Platform App Builder

This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our New York City headquarters office. It is expected that some duties will be performed on-site at least 3-days a week, and some remotely.

All candidates must be within commutable distance of Success Academies offices at 95 Pine St, New York, NY 10005, upon hire.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.

Compensation Range

$100,000 - $120,000 USD
