About the Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Scheduling & Rostering Specialist to join our Office of the Registrar. This role is crucial in ensuring that our schools provide a dynamic and flexible learning environment that prepares all students for college success. This specialist will focus on services for all K-12 schools, with a core responsibility in scheduling and rostering. This includes offering the right classes and having the flexibility to adjust student schedules to accommodate major examination preparation. The Scheduling & Rostering Specialist will report to the Lead of the Office of the Registrar.
Key Responsibilities:
K-12 Scheduling and Rostering: Develop, implement, and manage the scheduling and rostering processes for all K-12 schools, ensuring alignment with academic goals and student needs.
Project Management: Manage scheduling projects, including timelines, resources, and deliverables, to ensure successful implementation of scheduling plans.
Course Offering Management: Collaborate with academic teams to determine appropriate course offerings and ensure that the schedule supports a wide range of academic pathways.
HS Student Schedule Optimization: Work with school staff to optimize individual student schedules, balancing academic rigor with student availability and external commitments.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with school leaders, teachers, and other stakeholders to gather input on scheduling & rostering needs and ensure effective implementation.
Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date data, and generate reports as needed to inform decision-making.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Compliance and Policy: Ensure that all practices comply with Success Academy policies and external regulations.
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of combined relevant work experience in operations or project management, ideally within an academic environment.
Experience working with decentralized teams within a matrixed organization.
A bachelor's degree is required.
Required Traits

Ability to independently and successfully manage projects.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
