Role Overview

Success Academy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Renovations and Facilities Team. This individual will be a critical support player, ensuring the smooth operation and strategic planning of our school facilities. The ideal candidate is a proactive "go-getter" who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses a keen eye for detail, and is eager to learn and contribute quickly.

Key Responsibilities

As an Associate, Renovations & Facilities, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Project Coordination Support: Assist in the coordination and tracking of various renovation projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

  • Permit Management: Support the application, tracking, and management of necessary permits for construction, renovation, and facilities-related activities.

  • Annual C/E (Custodial Engineer) Ratings: Aid in the collection and organization of documentation required for annual building compliance and safety ratings.

  • Election Cycle Space Planning: Provide logistical and planning support for optimizing school spaces during election cycles or other large-scale events that impact facility usage.

  • Facilities Issue Triaging: Serve as a point of contact for incoming facilities issues, triaging requests, and coordinating with relevant teams for swift resolution.

  • Vendor and Stakeholder Communication: Assist in maintaining effective communication with external vendors, contractors, and internal school staff regarding facilities matters.

  • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain organized records, update databases, and prepare reports related to facilities operations and project progress.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining facilities processes and contribute to developing more efficient workflows.

  • General Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Facilities and Renovations teams as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably with exposure to operations, project coordination, or administrative support roles.

  • Proactive & Adaptable: A "go-getter" who is not afraid to jump in, learn new things quickly, and thrive in an environment where priorities can shift rapidly. Able to adapt and pivot quickly in a changing landscape.

  • High Standards: Demonstrates a high excellence bar for self and others, maintaining consistently high standards for the quality of work product.

  • Detail-Oriented & Analytical: Possesses exceptional attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills, able to analyze information and identify solutions.

  • Strategic Thinker: Is a strategic thinker who can translate vision into actionable steps and contribute to broader team goals.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting deadlines.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and comfortable learning new software or tools quickly.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.

Compensation Range

$65,000 - $70,000 USD
