
Project Manager, Family Engagement

About the Role:
The Specialist, Family Engagement provides essential operational and administrative support to the Family Engagement team to help meet network-wide acquisition and yield goals. This role focuses on the day-to-day execution of data tasks and the maintenance of school-facing resources. Using systems such as Salesforce, eSD, and Google Suite, the Specialist ensures that data is accurate when providing to the school staff and that they have the templates and trackers they need to successfully move families through the acquisition funnel. This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented professional looking to build a career in educational operations and data management.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and standardize high-impact family communication and engagement strategies (e.g., talking points, toolkits, and FAQs) to align with the Lead’s strategic vision for family engagement and recruitment.

Manage data integrity and reporting for school-facing outreach efforts by extracting, validating, and distributing essential family rosters and data sets from platforms like Salesforce and eSD to enable targeted school outreach.

Establish and manage a robust performance monitoring and accountability framework for school-level family engagement and enrollment goals, utilizing shared data platforms and project management tools to ensure leaders meet key milestones.

Analyze and synthesize insights from family recruitment and engagement initiatives across schools, producing comprehensive summaries and strategic recommendations for immediate pivots and long-term improvements based on performance data.

Serve as the primary logistical and technical lead for large-scale family events (e.g., Orientation, Summer Onboarding, and Back to School) to ensure a high-quality, seamless experience for all participating families.

Drive and execute community engagement strategy in partnership with the Recruitment team by identifying, coordinating, and managing key community events to generate new applications and cultivate enduring community partnerships.

Provide advanced technical production support for all family-facing digital platforms, including acting as the backend host for large-scale webinars, managing interactive features (Q&A), and generating comprehensive post-event analytics and attendance reports.

Collaborate with the Senior Specialist to provide strategic administrative support for strategic engagement programs, ensuring accurate tracking of school-level engagement and outcome metrics.
Qualifications:

1–3 years of professional experience in operations, administrative, or project coordination roles, ideally within a school or fast-paced nonprofit environment.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and hold peers accountable to ensure project completion.

Intermediate data proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel (including filters and basic formulas), and the ability to quickly learn and navigate student data systems and CRMs (like Salesforce and eSD).

Technical comfort managing digital platforms (such as Zoom).

Strong written communication skills and a collaborative mindset for building positive working relationships with school leaders and diverse internal teams.

Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends and travel to various campus locations for event support.

Bachelor’s degree required.

Compensation Range
$68,000 - $72,000 USD
