Department

Strategy & Business Development (BD) helps author and orchestrate the enterprise strategy and provides the analytical capabilities required to drive it forward. The team owns the strategic planning process, manages the organization’s market intelligence capability, leads research and analytical support of key initiatives, and runs Business Development and Partnerships. Working end-to-end across all functions, Strategy & BD is positioned to help Success Academy deliver its most ambitious goals.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Strategy Senior Analyst to play a leading role on this highly visible, high-impact team. The Strategy Senior Analyst will enhance our strategy and execution by generating and communicating the insights needed to drive change at high speed. The ideal candidate combines a sharp analytical toolkit, fast pattern recognition, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across different altitudes of an organization. From day one, you will work directly with the executive leadership team on the most consequential decisions facing the network. Success Academy is the fastest-growing charter network. The scope and responsibility of this role are built to scale with it—strong contributors are recognized quickly with broader scope, increased ownership, and accelerated growth.

Responsibilities

  • Translate ambiguity into structured analysis. Convert ambiguous strategic questions into answerable diagnostics, working across functions of the network to surface the underlying drivers and the insights that change decisions.

  • Build the intelligence layer the network runs on. Design the analytical frameworks, scorecards, and decision-support tools that drive how we operate, with strong instinct for design, simplicity, and clarity.

  • Drive analysis and performance through innovation. Apply the modern toolkit—including the full suite of AI—to data analysis and visualization, accelerating insight generation and strengthening the performance-management systems the network runs on.

  • Author key executive communications. Distill complex, multi-source information into actionable insights and recommendations to the Executive Leadership team.

  • Partner across the enterprise. Work alongside leaders in growth, marketing, real estate, operations, HR, and finance to surface insights and deliver results.

  • Own work end-to-end. Take problems from definition through analysis, recommendation, and implementation.

  • Build the operating cadence. Help institutionalize the strategic planning, market intelligence, and decision-support rhythms the network needs to run on as it scales.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of analytical experience. Post-undergraduate experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm (MBB or equivalent), Tier-1 investment bank, or comparable analytical environment, with a demonstrated track record of turning data into decisions that drive real action.

  • Excellent data analysis and visualization. Quantitative fluency paired with mastery of the modern analytical toolkit—including the full suite of AI tools—to accelerate analysis, bring data to life through clear and compelling visualizations, and strengthen the performance management systems the network runs on.

  • Exceptional communication. Able to distill complex information into executive-ready takeaways.

  • Intellectual curiosity. Fast pattern recognition and the ability to learn new domains, stakeholders, and tools quickly.

  • Detail and altitude. Exceptional attention to detail when the analysis demands it, with the ability to elevate to enterprise-level thinking.

  • Partnership and stakeholder management. Builds trust and credibility across functions and levels of the organization, earns the right to be at the table with senior leaders, and influences decisions without formal authority.

  • High agency. End-to-end ownership and an enterprise mindset for seeing and building the connections across functions to operationalize the work and compound impact.

  • High drive, low ego. Pairs ambition and intensity with humility—no task too small, willing to roll up sleeves and pitch in wherever needed to drive change.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
