The Role

As our Head of Sales, you will drive revenue growth by building and executing a scalable sales strategy that expands our market presence and accelerates customer acquisition. You’ll lead a high-performing sales team, working closely with our founders and cross-functional teams to secure partnerships and close deals that fuel our mission. This role is designed for an entrepreneurial leader with a deep understanding of startup sales dynamics and a passion for healthcare innovation.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop & Execute Sales Strategy: Craft and implement a comprehensive sales roadmap that aligns with Sully.ai’s business objectives and growth targets.
  • Build & Lead the Sales Team: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Customer Acquisition: Identify and pursue high-value sales opportunities across healthcare providers, EHR vendors, technology partners, and insurance companies.
  • Manage the Sales Pipeline: Oversee the full sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—ensuring a robust pipeline and predictable revenue growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to refine our value proposition, optimize the sales process, and support customer retention.
  • Negotiate & Close Deals: Lead complex negotiations and structure win-win deals that drive significant business value.
  • Market Representation: Represent Sully.ai at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and cultivate strategic relationships.

Who You Are

This is a high-ownership leadership role for someone who thrives in the fast-paced startup environment and has a proven track record in scaling revenue.

🚀 Must-Have Experience
Startup & SaaS Expertise: You’ve been a Founder, Co-Founder, or a senior sales leader at a startup (In a sub-10 or sub-20 person team).
Sales Leadership: A demonstrated history of building and scaling sales teams, driving revenue growth, and exceeding sales targets.
Customer-Centric Approach: Proven experience managing the entire sales cycle with a focus on creating value and building long-term customer relationships.
Strategic Negotiator: Skilled at negotiating complex deals and structuring agreements that generate mutual benefit.
Data-Driven Decision Maker: Proficient in using CRM systems and sales analytics to measure performance and optimize the sales process.

💡 Bonus Points If You...

  • Have direct experience in the high growth ARR startups or AI sectors.
  • Possess an established network within SaaS, Healthcare technology or AI industries.
  • Are familiar with modern sales tools and platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Gong etc.).
  • Have experience navigating regulatory or compliance challenges in healthcare.
