Operations & Supply Chain Internships - Summer 2027

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in a related field, or equivalent relevant education/experience
  • Previous internship, work, or project experience in aerospace, electric aviation, EVs, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
  • University, design, entrepreneurial, or personal projects demonstrating technical skills, creativity, or an interest in electric aviation

 

OPERATIONS & SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIFIC TEAMS

The teams within these focus areas help BETA grow from an electric aviation company into a scalable, customer-ready business. From commercial strategy, finance, accounting, supply chain, and team operations to creative, communications, government affairs, and flight operations, they build the relationships, systems, stories, policies, and operational foundation that bring BETA’s aircraft and charging solutions into everyday use. 

 

ACCOUNTING 

Supports BETA’s accounting team in maintaining accurate financial information and gaining hands-on experience with the processes that support the company’s financial operations. Interns work alongside the team during the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and other accounting projects. Strong candidates have experience in: 

  • Accounting, finance, business, or related coursework  
  • Excel, data analysis, financial reporting, or accounting systems 
  • Attention to detail, organization, and analytical problem-solving 
  • Clear communication and an eagerness to learn in a collaborative environment 

 

COMMERCIAL 

Connects BETA’s aircraft, charging, and service offerings with customers and market opportunities. The team helps shape customer relationships from early conversations through sales, activation, and long-term support. Strong candidates have experience in: 

  • Business, economics, aviation, or market research
  • Customer-facing work, account management, or relationship building
  • Market analysis, competitive research, and presentation development
  • Excel, data analysis, and clear written and verbal communication 

 

CREATIVE 

Creative brings BETA’s brand, culture, and electric aviation story to life through design, photography, video, campaigns, events, and experiences. The team turns complex ideas into clear, distinctive work that helps people see, understand, and feel what BETA is building. Strong candidates have experience in: 

  • Graphic design, visual storytelling, photography, video, or digital media
  • Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar design tools
  • Brand systems, layout, illustration, or content development
  • Collaboration, attention to detail, and project organization 

 

COMMUNICATIONS  

Builds understanding of BETA’s mission, progress, and impact among employees, customers, communities, and external audiences. The team develops clear, accurate, and engaging communications that help tell BETA’s story as an aerospace and defense company. Strong candidates have experience in: 

  • Writing, editing, journalism, public relations, or communications
  • Content creation for internal, digital, social, or external channels
  • Research, interview preparation, and message development
  • Project management, organization, and strong attention to detail 

 

FINANCE 

Provides the financial insight, planning, and controls that help BETA make informed decisions and invest responsibly as the company grows. The team partners across the business to understand performance, manage resources, and support sustainable operations. Strong candidates have experience in: 

  • Finance, accounting, economics, business, or data analysis
  • Excel, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, or reporting
  • Attention to detail, analytical problem-solving, and process improvement
  • Clear communication of financial information to varied audiences 

 

FLIGHT OPS- Aircraft Maintenance and Training 

Operates, maintains, and supports the training of BETA aircraft and personnel, helping ensure aircraft are safe, ready, and effectively used in real-world operations. The team turns aircraft development into operational experience that informs BETA’s path to commercial service. Strong candidates have experience in: 

  • Aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or aviation safety
  • Mechanical or electrical troubleshooting and hands-on technical work
  • Maintenance documentation, inspection procedures, or regulatory awareness
  • Training development, technical communication, and process discipline 

 

GOVERNMENT & REGULATORY AFFAIRS 

Builds relationships with government, regulatory, and community stakeholders to help create the conditions for electric aviation to safely scale The team works at the intersection of aviation and infrastructure policy, iregulation, and innovation—communicating BETA’s perspective, tracking policy developments, and helping shape the environment needed to bring electric aircraft into everyday use. Strong candidates have experience in: 

  • Public policy, government, political science, law, or public affairs; experience in aviation, transportation, energy, infrastructure, or emerging-technology policy is a plus
  • Policy research, legislative tracking, and concise briefing development
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, concise insights
  • Research, project coordination, and comfort working across other teams in a fast-paced environment 

 

SUPPLY CHAIN 

Sources the materials, components, services, and supplier partnerships needed to build and support BETA’s aircraft and infrastructure. The team helps ensure the right parts are available at the right time, quality, and cost as BETA scales production and operations. Strong candidates have experience in: 

  • Supply chain, operations, logistics, procurement, or manufacturing
  • Demand planning, inventory management, or supplier coordination
  • Excel, ERP/MRP systems, data analysis, or process mapping
  • Negotiation, cross-functional communication, and detail-oriented problem-solving 

 

TEAM OPS 

Enables BETA’s teams to do their best work by improving the systems, programs, facilities, and day-to-day experiences that support the workforce. The team helps build an organized, connected, and scalable company culture as BETA grows. Strong candidates have experience in: 

  • Business operations, project coordination, human resources, or event planning
  • Process improvement, documentation, and operational problem-solving
  • Excel, project-management tools, and data tracking
  • Strong communication, organization, discretion, and customer-service mindset 

The wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role. We pay competitively and base compensation on a variety of factors including skills, experience, industry background, and the evolving needs of the role. We remain committed to fair and equitable pay and we're happy to discuss during the interview process.
