PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in a related field, or equivalent relevant education/experience
  • Previous internship, work, or project experience in aerospace, electric aviation, EVs, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
  • University, design, entrepreneurial, or personal projects demonstrating technical skills, creativity, or an interest in electric aviation

AIRBORNE ELECTRONIC HARDWARE 

Designs and integrates the physical electrical and electronic hardware that supports safe, reliable aircraft operation. Strong candidates have experience in: 

  • Electrical hardware design & circuit analysis
  • Schematic capture, PCB design & component selection
  • Laboratory testing, troubleshooting & validation
  • Requirements management, documentation & configuration control 

 

AIRBORNE ELECTRONIC SOFTWARE 

Develops safety-critical software for the electrical systems that power, monitor, and control BETA aircraft. Strong candidates have experience in: 

  • C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, Git/GitLab, Polarion
  • Power electronics, motor controls or battery systems
  • Software verification, debugging & hardware integration
  • Requirements traceability, configuration management & technical documentation 

 

The wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role. We pay competitively and base compensation on a variety of factors including skills, experience, industry background, and the evolving needs of the role.
