Bobcat Sales Representative

As we expand our team, we're seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join us and drive our sales initiatives.

Position Overview: As a Bobcat Construction Equipment Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our range of Bobcat construction equipment to clients within Dutchess County and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate should possess strong sales skills, excellent product knowledge, and a passion for providing top-tier customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and qualify leads to identify potential customers and new business opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Provide product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of Bobcat equipment.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to expand the customer base.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction equipment industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of construction equipment, particularly Bobcat machinery, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.
  • Driving duties will include Driving a 1-ton flatbed “pickup” truck that can deliver small attachments on the bed of the truck. Driving the truck with an 18’ tag-along trailer that will carry up to 12,000 lbs. The combined weight will be under the 26,000 lb threshold.
  • CDL license is a plus.
