Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)

  • HARMONi: Phase 3 clinical study which was intended to evaluate ivonescimab combined with chemotherapy compared to placebo plus chemotherapy in patients with EGFR-mutated, locally advanced or metastatic non-squamous NSCLC who were previously treated with a 3rd generation EGFR TKI.

  • HARMONi-3: Phase 3 clinical study which is intended to evaluate ivonescimab combined with chemotherapy compared to pembrolizumab combined with chemotherapy in patients with first-line metastatic NSCLC.

  • HARMONi-7: Phase 3 clinical study which is intended to evaluate ivonescimab monotherapy compared to pembrolizumab monotherapy in patients with first-line metastatic NSCLC.

Colorectal Cancer (CRC)

  • HARMONi-GI3: Phase 3 clinical study intended to evaluate ivonescimab in combination with chemotherapy compared with bevacizumab plus chemotherapy.

Ivonescimab is an investigational therapy not presently approved by any regulatory authority other than China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA). Summit is headquartered in Miami, Florida, and has additional offices in California, New Jersey, the UK, and Ireland.

Job Title: Associate Director, Field Sales Training

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, FIELD SALES TRAINING 

 
Overview of Role: 

The Associate Director, Field Sales Training will play a key role in building and delivering learning solutions that prepare the field sales organization to execute with confidence, consistency, and compliance. This individual will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Compliance, and external partners to develop training programs aligned to business priorities and field capability goals.  The role requires deep understanding of oncology commercial environments, including the clinical, reimbursement, and access dynamics specific to intravenous, buy-and-bill oncology products 

 

Role and Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of field sales training programs, including onboarding, product training, business acumen, selling skills, and ongoing capability development 
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Compliance, and external vendors to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, compliant, and aligned to business priorities 
  • Translate commercial strategy into practical learning solutions that build field readiness and support effective execution 
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to support training pull-through, coaching reinforcement, and field execution 
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, stakeholder feedback, performance insights, and defined learning metrics 
  • Leverage modern learning methodologies, technology platforms, and AI-enabled tools to enhance learner engagement, accessibility, and pull-through 
  • Develop training content specific to oncology practice environments, including infusion center access, biomarker testing and result interpretation, and buy-and-bill reimbursement processes 
  • Maintain current knowledge of oncology, market dynamics, adult learning principles, and industry best practices 
  • Demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and operate in accordance with all compliance, legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines 
  • All other duties as assigned 

 

 
Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; Master’s or doctorate degree preferred 
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering learning programs in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry specifically in oncology, biotech, or specialty pharmaceutical environments 
  • Field sales training experience in specialty or oncology required; buy-and-bill, infusion, or IV product experience strongly preferred 
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment 
  • Oncology product launch experience preferred 
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, written communication, and stakeholder management skills 
  • Experience applying modern learning methodologies, digital learning tools, and capability-building approaches 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and relevant AI-enabled productivity and learning tools 
  • Familiarity with Veeva Vault PromoMats or equivalent promotional content management systems preferred 
  • Demonstrated strategic, forward-thinking, and agile mindset 

 

This is the pay for this position

Pay Transparency

$170,000 - $195,000 USD

 

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable variable compensation.
