Sales & Partner Enablement Manager

About the Job: 

As the Sales & Partner Enablement Manager, your mission is to empower our sales and partner teams with the knowledge, resources and coaching they need to excel in their roles. You will act as a strategic partner to sales leadership, providing the insights, training, and tools that drive performance and align with our business objectives. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, ensuring team alignment, and creating a culture of continuous learning across the sales organization. 

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including Product, Marketing, Sales, Channel and Customer Success to deliver programming that meets Sumo’s business objectives. 
  • Design, enhance and implement enablement programs, content and resources to help new hires, tenured sales and channel teams drive productivity as they create, advance and close deals 
  • Build effective relationships across Sumo Logic globally driving alignment to ensure successful implementation and results of all programs
  • Stay abreast of enablement trends and technology both inside and outside of Sumo Logic to ensure a simple, seamless learning experience for our sales organization
  • Monitor and report on programming
  • Contribute your experience and expertise in creating a world-class sales enablement function at Sumo Logic
  • LImited travel may be required as needed

Your experience and skills should include: 

  • 7+ years experience working in corporate learning, sales enablement, sales strategy, sales productivity, partner strategy and enablement, or similar roles for a SaaS - Cloud company.
  • Excellent communications skills with high ability to drive consensus
  • A curious learner & listener with ability to identify root cause needs
  • Deep knowledge of sales processes, methodologies and solution selling best practices
  • Thrives in a fast paced, ever-changing SaaS environment
  • Effective at synthesizing and distilling large amounts of information with a deep-understanding of what constitutes sales-relevant content
  • Proven track record of scoping, building and implementing enablement programs with supporting resources
  • Strong presentation skills 
  • Proven ability to anticipate needs, be proactive and work independently 
  • Cyber security background with familiarity of competitive landscape a plus

Technology Skills & Experience:

Google Suite, Mac OS, Mindtickle (or other learning & content management system), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Salesforce, Microsoft Office.

Sumo Logic Privacy Policy

The expected annual base salary for this position is $140,000 - $150,000. In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible to participate in our bonus or commission plans, as well as our benefits offerings. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but aren’t limited to) role level, skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, location, and experience.
