JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is seeking an Associate Manager, Regional Operations Excellence, to join the Sunnyside Team in the East. This individual will report to the Sr. Manager, Regional Operational Excellence. This leader will be responsible for auditing our retail locations, developing and rolling out training programs, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency. This role will have responsibilities in multiple states and requires the ability to solve challenges as they arrive, strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to navigate state-specific regulations and operational differences to aid in overall efficiency planning.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Oversee and drive operational excellence remotely and in-store by conducting audits, providing education, and implementing procedures that ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Develop, implement, and maintain training programs to improve operational processes across retail locations in the East Region in alignment with SOPs and regulations. Ensure the effective roll-out of new processes, technologies, and initiatives.
- Measure, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency and effectiveness across the region. Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
- Work closely with the Operations Excellence team and other departments to identify areas of improvement, analyze operational gaps, and strategize and implement solutions to enhance overall performance.
- Partner in the state badging process for the East region, ensuring compliance and smooth execution.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of state regulations and support operational needs to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in all operational activities.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Seed to Sale systems ensuring smooth operations and compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide support for any other operational excellence initiatives required for the East region, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and operational standards.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Minimum of 2 years of operations experience, ideally in the regulated cannabis industry or another regulated industry, such as alcohol, tobacco, or manufacturing
- Four-year College Degree or equivalent work experience
- Must have the ability to develop and foster strong working relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
- Working knowledge or ability to develop working knowledge of state regulations.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills; the ability to either predict and or identify and drive problem/issue to resolution in partnership with stakeholders.
- Ability to successfully manage a high-volume workload
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities
- Capable of handling confidential information discreetly and professionally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint

In accordance with any local and state compensation laws, the compensation listed is the current estimated range for the position. Final offer details and future compensation may be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to, geographic location, market compensation data, skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Pay Range
$55,000 - $65,000 USD
