JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is seeking an Associate Manager, Regional Operations Adherence to join our team. The Associate Manager, Regional Operations Adherence plays a key role in supporting operational excellence and compliance across Illinois and reports to the SR. Manager, Regional Operations Excellence. This position is responsible for ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), regulatory requirements, and company policies at multiple operational sites, while working closely with the Department of Professional Regulation, in addition to Local and State law enforcement agencies. This role partners closely with local site leadership to implement initiatives, audit practices, and identify areas for improvement. A successful candidate has the ability apply and interpret audit and compliance requirements for various departments and has previous experience monitoring, investigating, and resolving inventory discrepancies.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Ensure consistent implementation and enforcement of SOPs and regulatory standards across regional sites
- Conduct routine audits and assessments to evaluate adherence to internal and external compliance requirements
- Support incident investigation and resolution related to operational non-compliance
- Collaborate with local leadership and training teams to ensure frontline staff receive appropriate training on updated procedures and compliance requirements
- Identify trends and gaps through audit findings and frontline feedback and collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive process enhancements
- Assist in developing, testing, and rollout out new or updated SOPs or adherence initiatives
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of audit findings and adherence metrics
- Deliver reports to regional and corporate leadership on operational performance and risks
- Partner with stakeholders on special projects related to operational consistency, compliance, or process rollout
- Act as a regional lead or liaison for company-wide initiatives that impact store-level execution
- Supports and communicates all routine requests to the Department of Professional Regulation (e.g. – Vendor events, outreach, local marketing, etc.)
- Prepare and conduct inspections with the Department of Professional Regulation and State Police officials when necessary.
- Ensure accurate records of all dispensary activities including, patient/customer records, sales, deliveries, and returns are being made in accordance with the State regulations as well as standards set by the Company.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Minimum of 3 years of compliance experience, ideally in the regulated cannabis industry or another regulated industry, such as alcohol, tobacco, medical, or manufacturing, preferred.
- Must have the ability to develop and foster strong working relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills; the ability to either predict and / or identify and drive problem/issue to resolution in partnership with stakeholders.
- Excellent people and communication skills (verbal and written), with ability to successfully explain complex matters and provide persuasive support for positions with internal stakeholders, outside partners, and to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to successfully manage a high-volume workload with tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
- Capable of handling confidential information discreetly and professionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge or ability to develop working knowledge of all state and local regulations.
- Ability to travel within the state, as required.
- Must have reliable transportation.

In accordance with any local and state compensation laws, the compensation listed is the current estimated range for the position. Final offer details and future compensation may be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to, geographic location, market compensation data, skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Pay Range
$70,000 - $75,000 USD
