About this role:  

The Activity Coordinator has the responsibility, under the supervision of the Community Manager, of planning and coordinating the entire activities program for the residential community. Helping Activity Director with activities and events at a senior living apartment complex.   Other duties include helping with planning, organizing events for residents. 

Pay range:  

$19.50 - $20.00 DOE

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Include but not limited to

  • Plan and coordinate all social, educational and recreational programs each month
  • Preparation of monthly calendar
  • Preparation of monthly newsletter
  • Preparation of monthly activities work schedule
  • Create promotional materials for upcoming events
  • Adhere to company accounting directives, including but not limited to income accounting, expense control, and petty cash accounting.
  • Represent Sunrise Management and the community in a professional manner.  Maintain a positive businesslike attitude in person and on the telephone.  Dress in a neat, clean, professional manner and adhere to appropriate grooming.
  • Adhere to Fair Housing Policies.
  • Assist in promoting Sunrise Management.
  • Other duties may be assigned. 

What you’ll need:

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Top notch communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills.

This is a part-time position not eligible for the company benefit plans.
