- Real-Time Data & Controls: Develop processes, policies, and controls that enable real-time visibility across branches into fleet data across operations and finance—including vehicle count, type, ownership/financing, value, mileage, and condition.
- Leasing vs. Owning Analysis: Conduct a financial and operational analysis comparing leasing and owning commercial vehicles and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Pilot Program Design & Execution: Design and run a pilot fleet initiative, testing system improvements and evaluating branch-level implementation strategies.
- Branch-Level Staffing Strategy: Identify and recommend who should own fleet management processes at each branch (e.g., FTEs, interns, or hybrid models).
- Vehicle Compliance & Registration: Evaluate current tax, tag, and registration processes to streamline compliance across the fleet.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with field operations, finance, HR, and systems teams to roll out new processes and tools effectively.
- Knowledge Transfer & Long-Term Ownership: Develop documentation and training to ensure sustainable adoption of the fleet program post-internship.
