Senior AI Product Manager
About Sunrise Group
Sunrise Group is building the future of sleep health by combining breakthrough technology with expert care. We started in 2015 with a straightforward idea: sleep diagnosis should happen in the comfort of your own home, not in a hospital. To make that possible, we created a first-of-its-kind chin sensor, carefully validated through clinical research, reviewed by leading sleep experts, and cleared by the FDA.
Since then, Sunrise Group has grown from a single innovation into a complete sleep health company. We now design advanced diagnostic and treatment solutions, and we deliver care directly to patients through Dreem Health, our digital sleep clinic. By serving patients in all 50 states with reimbursed care, we are making sleep treatment more accessible, more personal, and much simpler than it has ever been.
Your Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior AI Product Manager to own and drive the Data & AI roadmap. This is not a backlog-grooming, ticket-writing role. You will define the strategy, make the calls, build the business cases, and ship. You’ll work directly with the CPO and CTO and you’ll need to earn trust through execution, clarity, and follow-through.
The scope is broad and the autonomy is real. You’ll be expected to take full ownership of your initiatives from discovery to deployment, operate with minimal hand-holding, and bring the rigor needed to prioritize ruthlessly in a resource-constrained environment.
This is a hands-on product leadership role: strategic enough to shape the AI roadmap, and operational enough to ship with the team.
At Sunrise Group, we work on a problem that affects millions: poor sleep and untreated sleep disorders. Our mission is to make diagnosis and care easier to access, and we’re proud of the experience we provide to patients. We feel responsible for making it better every day. If you’re looking for the autonomy to take ownership of your work, make an impact, and be part of a team where ideas move fast and everyone has a voice - this role is for you!
What You’ll Do
-
Data & AI Strategy: You will own the prioritized Data & AI roadmap, organized today around three pillars: scaling providers (chart preparation, AI scribe, clinical copilot), automating patient support (agentic multi-channel triage, workflow automation, voice AI), and empowering internal teams with AI-powered tooling. This means building and maintaining initiative scoring models, running ROI analysis, defending your prioritization to leadership, and adjusting course as the business evolves. You will connect to the BI data layer and use it to ground your decisions in real operational data.
-
AI-Powered Product Initiatives: You will lead the design and rollout of AI features across the product and operations stack. You’ll drive automation of patient communications across our multi-channel infrastructure — designing AI-powered triage and routing, building workflows grounded in real interaction data, and progressively moving them from human-assisted to autonomous through a structured maturity model. On the provider side, you’ll shape clinical workflow augmentation from chart review automation to quality analysis, partnering closely with clinical leads and the data team.
-
Institutional Knowledge: You will build and maintain the documentation layer that allows the team to scale without losing context: structured documentation spaces, workflow inventories, architecture decision records, and operational runbooks.
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of product management experience, with a minimum of 2 years spent on AI/ML products in production — not just prototypes.
- Hands-on familiarity with LLM-based systems, evaluation frameworks, and the practical challenges of deploying generative AI at scale in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with fluency in experimentation, metrics, and data-informed prioritization.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
What makes you stand out
- Background in sleep medicine, digital health, or healthtech.
- Experience designing modular AI skill architectures.
- Experience with voice agents.
- Hands-on experience with FDA or MDR software validation (SaMD or CDS).
- Previous startup or scale-up experience.
