POSITION: Business Development Associate

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for helping identify and build relationships with new customers in the commercial landscaping maintenance industry. Working closely with other members of the business development team, you will play a crucial role in the growth and success of the business.  The successful candidate will have tenacity, excellent relationship development skills, be highly motivated, and want to be part of a winning team.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and research potential clients and new business opportunities through outbound outreach and inbound lead follow-up.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
  • Support the sales team in creating tailored proposals, presentations, and sales collateral.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and referral sources.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and conferences as needed to represent the company.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to new business development.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex proposals and multi-phase solutions to customers and other stakeholders who are not landscaping industry experts.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.

COMPENSATION AND LOCATION

A market-leading compensation package will be offered to qualified candidates, including a base salary, commission, a company vehicle, and standard benefits. This role will require onsite work with clients throughout the Orlando metropolitan area.
