Who You Are:
A team player with a passion for sunscreen! We are looking for a candidate with experience on OTC products, either on the manufacturer or brand side to oversee product testing, dossier compilations and customs documentation. The perfect candidate should be well versed in FDA and ISO regulations and be solution oriented. Must have the ability to be agile in an ever changing and high growth environment. This is a critical role to the overall success of the business and interfaces with PD, Operations, and Regulatory on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Own product testing and documentation, including but not limited to analytical, efficacy, safety, and OTC drug stability performed by third party manufactures and labs. Track reporting dates and keep internal teams apprised of results. Assist with quality investigations related to COAs and batch records.
- Lead product investigations, CAPAs, and non-conformances to ensure adequate actions are taken and documented to prevent future occurrences.
- Review and approve ongoing production batches based on COA/COMs and product evaluation. Review finished good retains to confirm specifications are met before releasing.
- Serve as primary liaison for the execution of method validation and micro-suitability.
- Collaborate with Regulatory on NHP/DIN registrations in Canada by supplying mandatory quality related documents.
- Interface with international consultants (eg: Canadian consultant) and provide all necessary documentation to ensure goods are imported and released without delay.
- Prepare and review APQR reports for products distributed internationally (eg: Canada). Collaborate with contract manufacturers for reports and data associated with the review period.
- Work with suppliers and testing labs for product investigations when out of spec results are generated.
- Interface with operations and PD team on any scaleups/production technical issues or tech transfers. Assist in creation of formula and supporting testing documentation.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 3-5 years QA experience in an OTC environment
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- High attention to detail and organized
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary Range: $85,000 - 110,000 commensurate with experience
