Manager, Growth Marketing - Retail Media & SEO

New York, NY

Who we are:

Hi, we’re Supergoop! Since 2005, we’ve been changing the way the world thinks about sunscreen. Today, we’re as committed as ever to creating feel-good sunscreen that you’ll really want to wear. Because protecting your skin’s health is what we’re all about. Every. Single. Day.™

You are a performance marketer who lives at the intersection of retail media and organic search. You have a strong opinion on which retail media networks deserve investment, how to make a Roundel program sing, and how SEO and paid retail tactics work together to drive both site traffic and retailer sell-through. You’re hyper-organized, analytical, and equally comfortable in a retailer’s media dashboard or a technical SEO audit. You see DTC and retail.com as one connected ecosystem, not two separate channels.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Integrated Media & Measurement, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, innovative team building a best-in-class media program that reflects Supergoop!’s brand values. You will own retail media investment decisions, lead our SEO strategy, partner closely with the DTC and Sales teams, and keep a constant pulse on the evolving retail media and search landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Own Supergoop!’s SEO strategy end-to-end — technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, and organic keyword performance — to drive qualified traffic and revenue to our DTC site.
  • Own day-to-day engagement with our retail media partners planning, campaign execution, optimization, reporting, and quarterly business reviews. Act as the primary point of contact between Supergoop!, our retail partners, and our media agency.
  • Build and execute the retail media investment strategy — recommending which retail media networks to invest in (Roundel, Amazon Ads, Sephora Media Network, Ulta, etc.), at what level, and against which priorities to maximize sell-through and ROAS.
  • Partner closely with the DTC, Content, and Education teams to ensure that we’re optimized for organic discovery, inclusive of SEO and AEO.  Coordinate on landing pages, content, PDP optimization, and cross-channel measurement.
  • Liaise with retail media network partners and agency contacts to manage day-to-day performance, troubleshoot in-flight, and surface new opportunities.
  • Analyze performance data across retail media and SEO — ROAS, sell-through, share of voice, organic traffic, keyword rankings — and synthesize insights into clear reporting for senior leadership.
  • Brief in retail media creative assets and work closely with Creative, Brand, and Project Management to ensure on-brand, on-time delivery and apply best practices for retail-specific performance creative.
  • Partner with Sales and Retail Marketing to align retail media investment with key account priorities, promotional moments, and CoOp opportunities.
  • Manage retail media invoices, monthly budget accruals, and SEO tooling spend in coordination with Finance.
  • Stay current on beta offerings, emerging retail media networks, and SEO algorithm changes — identify new testing opportunities and bring forward recommendations.
  • Perform competitive analysis across both retail media presence and organic search to identify gaps and opportunities.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail media, SEO, and/or growth marketing — on the brand, retailer, or agency side. Experience working for a DTC and/or retailer-distributed beauty or CPG brand strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience managing retail media network programs; direct experience with Roundel strongly preferred. Familiarity with Amazon Ads, Sephora Media Network, Ulta, and other beauty retailer networks is a plus.
  • Strong SEO foundation across technical SEO, content SEO, and on-page optimization.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable growth — organic traffic, retailer sell-through, ROAS — for a small to mid-sized brand.
  • Proficiency in retailer reporting dashboards (Roundel, Amazon Ads Console, etc.).
  • Experience managing meaningful media budgets and making channel-level investment recommendations.
  • Well versed in media KPIs across both upper and lower funnel; deep understanding of how retail media and organic search performance tie back to overall business results.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with DTC/site, Sales, Creative, and Brand partners.
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and a self-starter who can operate independently while staying tightly aligned with leadership.
