The Role

We are looking for an Account Manager to own and grow relationships with existing partners after deal closure. This role is not sales-hunter focused: it’s about retention, expansion, and long-term success of our clients.

You will act as the main commercial point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring partners get value from the platform, coordinating with internal teams, and identifying upsell or expansion opportunities over time.

What you will do

  • Own the day-to-day relationship with existing operator partners
  • Act as the primary commercial contact post-signature
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and long-term account success
  • Understand each client’s business goals and align Surt`s platform accordingly
  • Coordinate with Product, Tech, and Operations teams to address client needs
  • Proactively identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities
  • Track account health, renewals, and contract milestones
  • Support renewals and commercial renegotiations when needed
  • Prepare account reviews, reports, and performance updates

Requirements

  • Based in Barcelona or open to relocate (hybrid model)
  • Fluent in English
  • Any additional European language is a strong plus (Spanish, Italian, French,…)
  • 2–4+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Client Partner, or Customer Success Manager
  • Experience working with B2B clients (SaaS, platforms, or tech preferred)
  • Comfortable managing multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and events
  • EU work authorization required — no visa sponsorship
