What we’re looking for
SurveyMonkey is looking for a Revenue Accountant to join our international team in Dublin! In this role, you'll be a key partner to the Accounts Receivable, Sales, and Data Engineering teams. You will ensure our revenue transaction data is reconciled, uploaded, and recorded. This position reports to the Dublin-based Revenue Accounting Manager and offers the opportunity to impact our global finance team significantly.
What you’ll be working on
- Prepare revenue system uploads and troubleshoot issues
- Partner with the AR team to ensure invoice data is complete and accurate
- Assist with reconciliation of online sales and related cash receipts as needed
- Collaborate with auditors on AR and revenue-related matters.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Enhance systems by partnering with business systems and data engineering teams to improve AR/revenue function.
- Support ad hoc projects as needed.
We’d love to hear from people with
- 3+ years of experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and technology companies
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent)
- Knowledge of ASC 606 / IFRS 15
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with SaaS revenue and billing is preferred
- Experience in Salesforce, Zuora, Revpro, Netsuite, Stripe is a plus
